LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar on Wednesday reiterated his government’s resolve to rootout terrorism from the country, ARY News reported.
Speaking to newsmen after inquiring about the health of the victims at the hospital, who got injured in Data Darbar blast earlier in the day, the governor condemned the cowardly act of the terrorists and prayed for their early recovery.
On the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the chief minister Punjab, the victims are being provided quality medical services to ensure their early recovery.
He said attacking innocent people in the holy month of Ramazan is an anti-Islam and anti-human act.

At least ten people including five elite force personnel were martyred and 25 other sustained wounds as a suicide bomber blew himself near a van carrying an elite police force outside the Data Darbar shrine, Lahore.
Following the deadly attack, condemnations and condolences started to pour in, President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, former president Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Jamait-e-Islami Chief, Sirajul Haq, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president, Shehbaz Sharif and other political leaders have strongly condemned the cowardly attack and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
